These are my favourite restaurants and the ones I usually visit in Valencia with my family, friends and even for business meetings.
I am going to list some of my favourite places that I always recommend to people visiting Valencia.
As you will see, it is a very varied selection in terms of tastes and where the food comes from.
I clarify, here are not the top restaurants, but the ones you can go to often because they are affordable. Nor are they in order of preference because they are very diverse and for different occasions.
Paella with beach views:
Restaurante Tropical
I go here any time we want to eat, or take someone out to eat, paella with an excellent sea view. It is very kids friendly. I always order "Sepia rellena de habitas" as a starter.

Tapas in Ensanche:
La Santa
Strategic location in the sun on the terrace. Excellent price and quality for the area. I always take their "grilled octopus".

Clochinas in the old town:
La Pilareta
It is a must for visitors if you want them to experience some Valencian culture. Simple place. You must order the "clochinas" (Valencian mussels).

Great Argentinean Meat:
Cruz Pampa
Nice decoration and polite staff. I go for business meals or with friends. I recommend "Menu degustación".

Great tapas restaurant with tradition in the Mestalla area:
Cerveceria Erajoma
Good atmosphere and excellent service. All the "tapas" are very good, so don't be afraid to choose or let the waiters advise you.

Delicatessen in Ensanche:
Ultramarinos Huerta
Delicious and innovative dishes. Excellent and cool ambience. I would recommend several dishes, but here I only mention the "grilled aubergine" and the "coca".

Best Calamares at Mercado Central:
Boatella Tapas
This simple place represents a true Valencian experience. The "artichokes" and "fried prawns" are an excellent choice.

Raffaello Pasta e Pizza
Perfect for families. Managed and run by polite Italians. "Pizza Quadra" is delicious.
